March weather in Pacifica can be unpredictable, but on Sunday, March 8th, we experienced the kind of day you hope for when planning a wedding by the ocean. The sky was clear, the sun was shining, and the cliffs of Montara Beach provided the perfect backdrop for Brittany and Joey’s intimate ceremony.
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Brittany and Joey exchanged vows with the Pacific Ocean glistening behind them. The ceremony was made even more special by the fact that Joey’s friend, Peter, officiated. This connection held extra meaning, as Joey had officiated Peter’s wedding just the year before. It was a full-circle moment, full of love and friendship.
After the ceremony, the couple’s guests enjoyed refreshments while we headed to Moss Beach for some stunning bride and groom portraits. The cliffs and iconic Cypress trees in this area added an extra layer of beauty to the already picturesque day. Brittany, who is a kindergarten teacher, and Joey, a Stanford heart disease researcher, were such a joy to photograph. Their sweet connection and genuine love for each other made every moment feel effortless.
Capturing their engagement session and wedding day was an absolute honor. It’s couples like Brittany and Joey that make what I do so special. They are not only kind and thoughtful but truly perfect together, and I’m so glad to have been a part of their journey.
